About me
Hi and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Ronan and I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).
I left my hometown of Strabane, Ireland, to study Music at the University of Huddersfield and I still play trumpet and cornet in my spare time. My initial plan was to become a music teacher but after giving it a go, I realised that it wasn’t the perfect fit for me.
I passed my driving test when I was 17 and quickly discovered my love for driving, so after deciding I was no longer going to pursue music tuition as a career, I chose to try something new. I combined my passions for driving and helping others to learn by training to become a driving instructor – now I get to help pupils of all ages and abilities, and meet great people from all walks of life! During my studies I was fortunate to meet and become friends with the Training Director of LDC through our links with music, and he introduced me to this revolutionary company. It didn’t take a lot of research to decide I wanted to learn the latest adult coaching and training techniques and to become part of the LDC family.
I take pride in knowing that my lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making my pupils feel at ease during lessons. I am aware that everyone is different so I use the unique LD System which allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I hope this gives you a brief idea about me so please feel free to "Contact me" and make an enquiry.
